Sun Up Ridge Wall - Benefits The Wall will be a very attractive addition to the community of Casper and be used to raise thousands of dollars for charities. Families will be invited to purchase plaques commemorating a person who has died. The plaques would be sold for a profit. Thirty percent pays for the plaques to be engraved and mounted on the wall. Ten percent will be placed in escrow to maintain the integrity of the memorial. Ten percent will be given to the Marine Corps League for distribution to approved veterans programs. And fifty percent will be donated to the charity of the donor’s choice. Donations will not be given to those groups with a sectarian purpose. (Wyoming State Constitution, Article 7, Section 12). Funds will be distributed to approved national research programs attempting to secure a cure for disease. An example might be that a relative has died of cancer; the plaque would be purchased and the funds distributed as explained with fifty percent going to Cancer research. |
