Sun Up Ridge Memorial Wall

The Wall
celebrates those we love with a lasting memorial and provides financial
contributions to medical research while contributing to the beauty of the
Casper.
DAV Van program

Funds from the
Wall provide finances to the Disabled American Veteran transportation
program for veterans who seek medical services.
Boy Scout Program
-
Funding is
provided for a Troop to provide a military presence, dressed in Civil War
uniforms, at the funeral of Veterans.

Monuments
-

Monuments are
honoring the Indian Wars, WWII,
Korea,
Operation Enduring
Freedom, Iraq and a Freedom Bridge are in place at the Oregon Trail Veterans
Cemetery.

This is the GUARDIAN
monument.
It is approximately twenty feet tall and has the logos of thirty-six
agencies on it. These agencies have the responsibility of placing themselves in
danger for the good of the community.
This
monument is unique in that construction began in February of 2001, seven months
before 9/11. Each agency has a specific part in the protection of the
civilian population and for that the City of Casper honors their service and

Planned Monuments

Monuments for
Vietnam, WWI, Spanish American, Afghanistan are being prepared for
installation. A
life size Buffalo will honor those Veterans who officiate at burials.

Operation Iraqi School Supplies

The Marine Corps
League initiated a state-wide program of collecting School supplies for
delivery to Iraqi children.

Toys for Tots
-

The Toys for Tots program is an
annual program providing Christmas toys for needy families in Central
Wyoming.

War Museum
-
-
The Wyoming
Veterans Memorial Museum in Casper is endorsed and aided by all Veteran
Organizations including the Marine Corps League.
